DIGITAL JOURNALISM: NEW LEGISLATIVE AND DEONTOLOGICAL CONFIGURATIONS

Georgiana Alina POPA    << Back to contents

Digital journalism refers to the reporting, production and distribution of journalistic content through digital means, using the internet, social networks, mobile applications and interactive platforms. Freedom of expression represents a fundamental pillar of democracy and human rights, but in the digital age, this freedom faces new challenges, limits and interpretations. The emergence and development of social networks, online communication platforms and artificial intelligence have radically transformed the way in which individuals communicate and express their opinions, significantly influencing the deontological ethics of contemporary journalism. MODERN TECHNOLOGIES: ALLY OR ENEMY IN EVERYDAY LIFE

Virgil FĂTU, Simona STANCU    << Back to contents

Modern technologies have become ubiquitous in everyday life, influencing the way people work, learn, communicate and relate to themselves and others. This paper analyzes the technological ambivalence, investigating the conditions in which technology acts as an ally, facilitating access to resources, efficiency and connectivity, but also the situations in which it becomes an enemy, generating stress, addiction and social inequalities. Drawing on international literature and examples from areas such as digital health, online education, the labour market and smart cities, the present study highlights both the benefits (telemedicine, e‑learning, digital governance) and the risks (technology, social media addiction, cyberattacks, job losses through automation). In the solutions section, the paper proposes three major directions: early digital education, balanced regulations and public policies, as well as digital hygiene at the individual level. The central conclusion highlights that technology cannot be unilaterally labeled as an ally or an enemy, but represents a tool whose value depends on the social context, the degree of self‑regulation and collective responsibility. Thus, the paper argues the need for an adaptive balance between innovation and protection, between opportunity and risk, in order to transform technology into a real support for human well‑being.

EDUCATIONAL STRATEGIES AND CLASSROOM ENVIRONMENTS FOR STUDENTS WITH ASPERGER’S SYNDROME: A MULTISENSORY APPROACH

Ana‑Lucia BLENDEA, Alin CIOBICA, Ioan GOTCA, Daniela DIMITRIU    << Back to contents

Learners with Asperger’s Syndrome often encounter obstacles in mainstream classrooms due to sensory sensitivities, rigid patterns of thinking, and challenges in social communication. This paper explores how multisensory teaching methods combined with structured classroom arrangements can enhance learning outcomes and engagement. Drawing on various principles from cognitive psychology and neurodevelopmental research, it examines the practical applications of visual tools, tactile resources, auditory prompts, and movement‑based activities. Case examples illustrate how predictable routines, designated low‑stimulation areas, and tailored adjustments can meet both sensory and educational needs. The discussion also stresses the importance of teacher training and collaboration with specialists such as occupational therapists. The aim is to offer a flexible, inclusive framework that values neurodiversity and supports students with Asperger’s Syndrome in achieving their academic potential.

NEUROEDUCATION IN ADHD: TRANSLATING NEUROSCIENCE INTO EFFECTIVE PEDAGOGICAL TOOLS

Ana‑Lucia BLENDEA, Alin CIOBICA, Ioan GOTCA, Daniela DIMITRIU    << Back to contents

Classrooms are increasingly enrolling students diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Research suggests that, beyond medication, introducing various neurotechnologies in educational settings may help alleviate symptoms and support cognitive development in these children. This umbrella review compiles existing scientific evidence on the use and implementation of such techniques in schools. A systematic review was conducted in line with PRISMA guidelines, considering systematic reviews published in English or Spanish in peer‑reviewed journals that focused on ADHD, applied neurotechnologies such as neurofeedback, transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), or hyperscanning, and addressed educational contexts. Fourteen reviews met the criteria, highlighting neurofeedback as the most frequently studied method, though its practical application in schools has been limited and primarily examined for efficacy. tDCS emerged with a stronger clinical orientation, while no evidence of hyperscanning in schools was found. Although experimental findings are encouraging, further ecological studies are required in order to explore the practical implementation in educational environments. Moreover, advancing neuroeducation may require the development of new professional roles

FROM HYPERACTIVITY TO HYPERFOCUS: COGNITIVE STYLES AND EDUCATIONAL STRENGTHS IN ADHD AND ASPERGER LEARNERS

Ana‑Lucia BLENDEA, Alin CIOBICA, Ioan GOTCA, Daniela DIMITRIU    << Back to contents

While ADHD and Asperger’s Syndrome are often framed in terms of deficits, many individuals exhibit cognitive strengths that can be leveraged in educational settings. This article examines the continuum from hyperactivity to hyperfocus and explores how these seemingly paradoxical traits reflect unique attentional and processing styles. Individuals with ADHD may struggle with sustained attention on routine tasks, yet demonstrating deep concentration and creativity in areas of interest — a phenomenon known as hyperfocus. Similarly, learners with Asperger’s may show intense focus and specialized knowledge in narrow fields. The present article highlights how traditional schooling often fails to accommodate these patterns, leading to underachievement or mislabelling. Through case studies and classroom observations, the paper proposes strategies such as project‑based learning, f lexible pacing, and interest‑driven instruction. Recognizing and supporting these strengths can improve motivation, self‑esteem, and academic success, reframing neurodiversity as an asset rather than a limitation.
